Many drivers here in Bozeman are looking forward to the imminent arrival of the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ. This all-electric SUV is a game-changer for the premium brand and heralds a new era in emissions-free luxury transportation.

Ressler Cadillac has good news: The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ release date is approaching, and you’ll soon be able to own this premium electric SUV.

According to Cadillac, 2023 LYRIQ deliveries are on schedule to begin this fall starting with rear-wheel-drive versions. All-wheel-drive LYRIQ models are being manufactured next, so they’re arriving at dealerships like Ressler Cadillac in early 2023. That means some Cadillac fans are less than a year away from driving a dazzling LYRIQ.

If you were one of the select few who reserved a 2023 LYRIQ Debut Edition, you don’t have to wait that long; you may be in the driver’s seat of your LYRIQ as soon as this summer. Cadillac LYRIQ Production & Release March Ahead

2023 Cadillac LYRIQ | Bozeman, MT

Soon, you’ll be able to get your hands on an all-electric Cadillac SUV. That’s because Cadillac LYRIQ production is finally underway.

Ever since late 2020, when the automaker announced that it was investing $2 billion to build the LYRIQ in Tennessee, Cadillac fans have been eager to get their hands on their own electric-powered luxury vehicle. Over a year later, retail production of the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is finally underway.

What took Cadillac this long to start building this anticipated product? The automaker had to greatly rework the assembly lines and replace the manufacturing equipment because the LYRIQ is the first model built on the entirely new Ultium Platform.

One of the biggest automotive production facilities in the country, the Spring Hill plant will play a big role in the future of Cadillac, which will release more electric vehicles in coming years as it pushes toward a gas-free future. The Spring Hill production plant in Tennessee is also where the automaker manufactures the XT5 and XT6, which are currently for sale here at Ressler Cadillac.

Performance Spotlight: Cadillac V-Series in Bozeman, MT

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V | Bozeman, MT

The Cadillac V-Series lineup includes sharp, sophisticated, and performance powerhouses in both sedan and SUV configurations. The Cadillac CT5-V, CT5-V Blackwing, CT4-V, and CT4-V Blacking are sedans while the upcoming Escalade-V is a three-row luxury SUV.

“The 2023 Cadillac Escalade will be the first SUV to don the high-performance V-Series badge. With nearly two decades of racing-inspired prowess, the V-Series designation is reserved for vehicles that encompass the peak of Cadillac performance, bold, distinguished design, and innovative technology,” according to Cadillac.

What makes the V-Series so exciting?

The models in the V-Series family are members of the fourth generation of this thrilling legacy. Hallmarks of the V-Series include signature design elements such as the V-Series badge and styling dedicated to optimal performance.

What makes the V Blackwing models so impressive?

If you choose the CT4-B Blackwing or CT5-V Blackwing sedan, you’ll be behind the wheel of a performance beast. The CT4-V Blackwing uses a 3.6-liter Twin-Turbo V6 generated at 427 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque to conquer the open road. In the Spotlight: Cadillac’s Super Cruise Hands-Free Driving System

2022 Cadillac XT6 | Bozeman, MT

Imagine being able to sit back in the driver’s seat, take your hands off the wheel, and relax while your vehicle does all the work of driving down the highway. That’s exactly the experience you can enjoy inside a Cadillac car or SUV equipped with cutting-edge Super Cruise technology.

The Super Cruise hands-free driving system keeps the vehicle centered in its lane, navigates curves, slows and speeds up with traffic, and maintains a safe following distance. On certain models, you can even tow a trailer or direct Super Cruise to change lanes.

To do all this, Super Cruise combines cameras, sensors, GPS, and LiDAR precision mapping for more than 200,000 miles of roadway in the U.S. and Canada. To use it, you’ll need to subscribe to a Cadillac Connected Services plan. Then, all you need to do is turn on Adaptive Cruise Control, wait for a signal that you’re on a road that’s compatible with the system, and press a dedicated Super Cruise button.

There’s one catch to all of this: You need to keep your eyes on the road the entire time. Super Cruise has a Driver Attention Camera that can detect if you’re looking at your phone, another passenger, or do anything else that takes your eyes off the road. If you don’t redirect your attention after being warned, the system will gradually slow your vehicle to a stop.

Super Cruise is currently available on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade and XT6, and it will also be included with the upcoming 2023 LYRIQ EV. Contact our team here at Ressler Cadillac in Bozeman, Montana, to learn how you can experience Super Cruise for yourself.

Coming Soon: The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V | Bozeman, MT

What do you get when you cross the two powerful entities that are the Cadillac Escalade and the luxury brand’s incredible V-Series? We don’t have long to find out, because the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is coming soon to Ressler Cadillac in Bozeman, Montana.

We’ll learn more about the Cadillac Escalade-V this spring, but what we know now speaks for itself. Namely, this is the first time Cadillac has put a V-Series badge on an SUV. Considering the amazing power and performance of the current V-Series lineup — including the CT4-V, CT5-V, CT4-V Blackwing™, and CT5-V Blackwing™ — and the awe-inspiring presence of the next-generation Escalade, this will be an unforgettable pairing.

Cadillac first developed the V-Series as a high-performance option for the CTS in 2004. Since then, the V-Series badge has appeared on Cadillac vehicles like the XLR, STS, and ATS. The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing™ currently holds the title of most powerful V-Series vehicle (and most powerful and fastest Cadillac production vehicle), offering 668 horsepower with its hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

Don’t be surprised if Cadillac breaks that record with the 2023 Escalade-V, which should be arriving at Ressler Cadillac sometime later in 2022. Watch this space for more information, sign up for updates at the Cadillac website, and contact our sales experts for updates as they come in.

How to Maintain a Car That’s Not Driven Often

Cadillac CT5-V | Bozeman, MT

Even if your Cadillac isn’t driving around the scenic streets of Bozeman, it still requires regular service for peak performance. Here are some tips for how to maintain a car that’s not driven often.

Fuel Additives

In most cases, if you plan on storing your vehicle, fill up the gas tank. This will prevent harmful condensation from forming in the fuel tank. Consider supplementing it with a fuel additive like Sta-Bil for storage stints lasting six months and under. For long-term storage, have the fuel tank drained by our experts at Ressler Cadillac.

Oil Change

Temperature fluctuations can cause oil to degrade inside your vehicle. So if you’re planning on having your car sit for a long time, change its oil every six months instead of focusing on mileage. And before you commit your car to storage, bring it in for an oil change to make sure that contaminated oil won’t degrade your car’s components while it’s sitting idle.

Battery Basics

If you plan on driving your car periodically, you won’t have to worry about additional battery maintenance. However, if you plan on keeping your car in long-term storage, consider a trickle charger. A microprocessor-controlled charger can determine what kind of battery your vehicle is using and charge it accordingly.

Cover Up

If you don’t have a garage, a car cover can help protect your vehicle from the elements. This simple accessory can do wonders to shelter your vehicle from sun damage, weather, incidental scratches, and corrosive substances like bird droppings. Just be sure to firmly secure the cover so that wind doesn’t whip it around.
